Have her drink lots and lots of water, and calcium as well. I would give her some vitamins to get her immune system going!

Well first off she needs to rest and take in more fluids! She needs to build her immune system up. Did the doc give her any antibotics? If not then pump her with flu meds and zicam. Take her to a diffrent doctor and see what else is going on..
I just read on cnn 80 million people will die from the flu this year. Get her to take it easy.

she really needs to get to a doctor to get an antibiotic, some flonase, a good decongestant, keep a humidifier going and eat lots of fresh fruits. For the sinusitis, try using Hypertonic Saline: 1 quart warm water + 3 heaping teaspoons salt + 1 level teaspoon baking soda. Mix well, use rubber baby bulb syringe to suck up solution then flush each nostril 3 -5 times daily as needed for congestion. Once there is marked imrprovement she can cut down on the rinsing to maybe once a day. good luck.

if she has chronic sinuitis that in itself can cause her to have flu like syptoms (vomiting, fever, tired, headache) Take her back to the doctor and have them do an actual test for the flu but treat the sinus. You also need to get a sinus spray to clean out her nose. She is 12 you are the paret, make her rest

Get her back to the hospital maybe a different doctor or even hospital because it sounds like she has more than the flu maybe pendacitice I had that when i was 12 and i was sick for a long time until they found out that my appendix was ready to burst. my sickness consisted of being sick , starting to feel better , right back to being really sick , diareah , (awful) to puking up green vile from the bottom of my stomach and my side hurt so bad I could not lay down and this lasted for about a month on til i said i was so bad that i even prescribed medical attention to myself! so get her in, not saying that 's what it is, but don't take any chances. sunnydays

You really need to make her drink more fluids. That is probably keeping her from getting better. She also needs rest or else she will only get worse. Plus, you need to take her back to the doctor. She could have something else wrong with her for being sick so long.
