I have known someone to marry a cousin i heard about when i was younger and there kids did have some disabilties! your 4th cousin they say is o.k. but i still don't know why that would be o.k. cause thats still a cousin too isn't it? So if you can like or date a 4th one why not any?? It should be none and thats it, but why say its o.k. for a 4th cousin? blood id blood in a family, but then again aren't we all kin anyway?? Back in the day they did marry cousins didn't they? Maybe that is what's wrong with everybody today!!! When we were kids we liked our cute cousins!! But we were kids! They called you kissing cousins whewn that happened in child hood and laughed about it!! No big deal they knew we'd out grow it!!! and find out it was wrong!! I wonder how close is your cousin 1st,2nd,or 3rd cause it makes a difference, they use to give blood test before you could married someone so if you were kin you couldn't get married i guess or so you'd know not to have children! They don't do that anymore! So anyone can get married now! Maybe you have gotten your love mixed up with him?? You could love him or like him as a cousin and confused about your feelings?? Just remember its your cousin and would you want that ?? to be with a cousin as more then a cousin? No one should judge you on this!!! But you know how people are!! There are alot of guys out there so shop around for awhile, don't settle!!! Good luck on making the right choice!

Do what you can to avoid him/her until you get over these feelings. Because no matter how much you click, it's too much for a relationship to handle. No matter that you are from the same family and having children would be difficult, but your family will not accept and it will be very hard to tell people without getting a very negative reaction. So getting involved could mean having to rid yourself of most of the people you care about and if it doesn't work out then you have to see this person at every family gathering. I'm sorry, no matter how good it feels, it's a disaster waiting to happen.

if you're first cousins that's a rough one. Yeah you can't help what you feel, but in this society I don't think first cousin love is accepted. How would you're parents feel? How would his?
All that difficulty would make it difficult for you to really have a relationship. I mean if your parents do approve that would make it easier so see if that's the case. If it's not...separate and make sure you're around more people. I'm sure you will both find other people who you are attracted to.

well for one I'm not the type of person that is going to put you down and call you names. but let me point something out to you. THIS IS WRONG.
someone said you do realize you're American that has nothing at all to do with it. try not to be anywhere where your cousin is. tell him that you guys cannot go on with anything because it is wrong not only in the public eyes but in god's eyes. listen i don't know what made you like your cousin or why your cousin likes you but whatever it is try to lose it. if not try to get a personal counselor.

You should not like your relatives in that sort of way. That is just morally wrong. Do you not value your family as family? Out of all the men in this world, your cousin?
Just think about what both your parents and other family members will say. You are going to do what you want regardless, but it's sick.

Family don't have sex with family. Do not be along with him. You can like your cousin in a respectable way but don't let it lead to sex. Think about if you get baby. You baby will have all kinds of health problems, because you and your cousin are blood.
Go in prayer and talk to GOD.

pretty much no matter what u do everybody will find it gross and wrong on so many levels what u guy might come across doing but hopefully never but however do what feel is right who are they to judge u..... but if he is ur second cuzin then go for it u have nothing to worry about but its still kinda gross in that incest way. but if any asks how u met ur "boyfriend" dont tell them the truth unless u trust them and even then they might think ur nuts...................good luck
p.s. dont have kids cuz that would be even more gross cuz they might have problems in the family or outside in the real world...(not the show)

With so many people in this world, it is best you run and don't make it wrong between all of your family. Wrongs have a way of coming back to us in big ways. Don't make it wrong. Your asking so hopefully nothing has happened but if it has make sure to break it off because as sure as i am here today i can tell you that only bad things will follow you for sure. I am 100% sure of this.

You don't do anything. It's like super wrong. I'm not a saint but you just don't date your cousin. Your kids will possibly come out with downs syndrome.
