Not one iota. I would respect my love either way.

Einstein's law of relativity.
It would all depends on the guy.
Here are some means that men could view the virginity:
Sex is precious and important. If he is a virgin, it would mean all the more to him that you have not given it to anyone else. He has not given it to anyone. Making the first time, all the more special for both sides.
This is why some women can be so evil and lie about being a virgin and basically, making the value of virginity all the more pointless.
It could also be used to judge character. If you are a virgin, then you must be serious about the person you want to spend your time with. You do not give it up easily.
However, if you are getting older, and are hard up on tradition and feel tradition is more important than the man... it could be a warning sign that you are not a person to be reckon with and probably not an easy person to share a life with. But then again, women are generally hard to live with, with or without this point hahaha.
Sorry... just being a guy :^P
In conclusion, it is important. But weigh it carefully.
Just one viewpoint.

Yes it means a lot, seeing that now everyone seems to be doing it. If the guy is a real man he will value you more for keeping your self pure. Sex was designed as a gift by God to us after we have married the person we will be with until death do us part. I am still a virgin and no matter what anyone says or may be doing I'm going to stay a virgin until I am married. Think about it how much would you want to be "one" with the person you TRULY LOVE instead of four or five. Not only will it mean more to your husband but it shows you respect your body and are not out prostituding it with various boyfrineds because only a true man will wait for that until after he has made the commitment to marry you. Plus it reduces the risk of acquiring a disease that you could end up regretting the rest of your life.

Yes and no.
Yes a man would find it admirable, especially if it actually means something to you and you did it as a wedding gift to him.
However, If you simply keep it because of fear or only because of morals, it doesn't mean as much.
The "no" part comes in simply because virginity is a rare gift at current weddings, and because the way in which the question is asked.
The answer to the question as asked is, "Men either respect women or they don't." There is no level of respect, i.e. more if you're a virgin or less if you're not. If a man would dare to admit that he would respect a woman less if she were not a virgin, he shows his true character inadequacy inasmuch as he thinks that it is appropriate to disrespect women.
Personally I believe all women are worthy of respect regardless of their virginity.

It shouldn't matter if it means anything more to the guy, its about having self respect. It could also be the line between health and sickness, with everything going around today you can never be too careful. You wouldn't want to risk it with just a "fling". I would wait until you meet the right one........even if it means waiting til you get married.

I am a southern guy who really respects a girl who stays a virgin. It is something special that you should give your husband... and he as well for you. I really dont think girls who sleep around deserve respect from others when they dont respect themselves.

Absolutely it means something special. It means, among other things, that a girl respects herself and her commitment to her future husband. It means she has high self esteem and cares about her reputation. It is the highest compliment to the girl.

Once you lost it you lost it for ever. So loosing it with your husband gives him confidence on you. Giving it to your better half on wedding day is a blessing for real man. If my wife is Virgin on the wedding night, i feel like i am blessed.

Yes. In fact, these days it might mean even more, since a virgin bride is a comparative rarity.

Some guys like it and some don't. All I can say is, if a guy really loves you or whatever, he'll accept you no matter what. And even if a guy says he doesn't appreciate virgins, he really does.
