A family member won't have anything to do with me, they have totally cut off all association with me. They are involved in a dangerous and destructive cult that teaches everyone will die Armageddon except for those in the cult. I can prove to them from their own Bible that the things they have learned in this cult are erroneous. How can I do this if they won't speak to me? Any suggestions?

What you are describing is dogma and dogmatic belief is everywhere...not just the church. Family is on the chopping block because family is a threat to any dogmatic system. Not all churches practice this. Even people who's loved ones have joined therapy have experienced cult-like harassment and abandonment over issues that don't even exist because the family member has chosen this lifestyle. It only takes two no matter what the situation.

Best thing to do is stay true to God's word and apply it to the subject when and if you can arrange to talk to your loved one.
