I do not think they are trying so much to silence the speaking out against the radical few so much as trying to make sure you are not grouping all of the people in that religion with the radical few. This is often the case.

Do you mean the crazy people who have bombed abortion clinics? That kind of nut case behavior? Believers in Jesus deny that a true believe could do such a terrible thing. So so cultist who thinks he is acting for God does a terrible thing. He can demand all day that he is a christian we will still reject him and his stupid behavior...

Because they are not real Christians who commit terrorism ! The crusaders were catholics acting out orders from the Pope & Roman Catholic Church, not God nor were they Christians ! the world seems to have a hard time to defenestrate between Catholics & Christians
