Anyone who has watched Pride and Prejudice, Keira Knighty has the same braided bun hairstyle during the casual daytime. Anyone know how to do this hairstyle? I have a play coming up and I do wish to know. Thank you :]

Oh my gosh! Good movie! I love all the hair styles! Okay, put hair in ponytail at spot where you want it to be. Braid your hair. tie it off.
Now coil it around base of ponytail. Stick bobby pins in it untill it stays up. Tuck in the ends. Wow! Be the star of that play, baby!

It's the only way I can get my daughter's hair in a bun for ballet class...you pull your hair into a ponytail with an elastic, then braid the ponytail and put another a elastic at the bottom. Then wrap the braid around the base where the first elastic is and use about 5-6 wide bobby pins to hold it in place. I hope that makes sense!
