Its a "forum", like the ancient Greek Forum, a place where people came together to share ideas and perspectives. Not everything heard at a forum is worth holding on to. But you might get a new understanding.

Sorry no.
Answers is a sharing of perspective. I'm sure you've seen some of the banter that gets posted. There is no way you can call any of these people divine, some are knowledgeable yes, but divine, no. The words of the Bible were inspired by God for our education. They are the only words I will ever put into Gods mouth.
This forum is for learning others perspectives, but other than the Bible there is no "Word" here.

The word of man is and always has been imperfect and immensely inferior to the Word of God. Y!Answers is a good forum for "separating the wheat from the chaffe", and teaching and learning about the Religion of God (all the major religions). But only quotes from the Holy Writings of the major religions can be considered perfect - without flaw - for their Author is a Manifestation of God Himself. Anytime we humans use our own words to interpret the Word of God, our interpretation is subject to error - intentional or unintentional.

People, we need to start adding qualifiers when we speak of religion. If religious dogma is going to be offered up as an alternative to sciences explanation of the origin or life and reality itself, then it too should have qualifiers added. So that, the existence of a Christ figure and what he accomplished is a theory. The existence of life after death is just a theory. The validity of religious texts is theoretical. Just like the theory of relativity and evolution are, at present, no more than theories, despite their far more plausible nature.

The Scripture is the inerrant Word of God....
Don't be deceived....this thread is loaded with error and deception....you should always compare what you hear on this thread with Scripture.

The Bible says: "Beloved, believe not every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God... because many false prophets are gone out into the world". (I John 4:1)

In my experinces, divine beings produce less realistic answers and more comfort than you'll find on Y! Answers.

Merely a modern way to study the Word.

"isn't Y!Answers simply "God Incarnate""? Goodness know...have you seen some of the idiotic stuff posted? If that's what a "god" is, no wonder I'm agnostic.

God uses people to bring about His plan and goals. So if we talk about God on Yahoo, He is aware of it and is using it for His purpose.
