I love venison

Of course! Why do you think we hunt these critters? Besides, to kill a game animal & not utilize the meat is a crime, let alone a sin. Also, Elk, Deer, Moose, Antelope & other deerlike critters are all venison - it use to be a term for all game killed in the fair chase, even fowl but now just the 4 legged.

I don't really care for venison unless it's mixed with other meat and or spices or mixed in spaghetti sauce. Elk on the other hand is the best !!!!!!!!!! I would take elk over ANY cut of beef.

Got a freezer full of 4 deer right now. I don't care much for it but it is like a feeding frenzy when the kids (teens) eat it. I have been told I make the best venison jerky, but I can't cook the vension like other family members.

I like both.....Elk roast is the best.....very little fat....Once you live on Venison and Elk for a couple of months and go back to beef.....The beef tastes nasty greasy....

I love both, deer sausage is excellent also these meats are good for you, hardly any fat on them. A good venison roast is awesome made in a slow cooker.

tastes a little greasy and stringy(does'nt taste like chicken).if you want the best "bambi burgers" mix the
venison ground up with some hamburger meat.

Both are very good! If you grind venison for burgers or to use in chili, use a little pork in it so it isn't to dry.
