when we were out in public and I did something wrong my parents would one or the other say..."If I live till we get home you have had it"....You would not believe how many times I wished we never made it home!!! Well we always made it home, I always got it but I never seemed to learn from it! I never got spanked for the same thing twice...I was just truly great at getting in trouble through a lot of creativity! I really feel bad for my parents thinking back on it now! I truly was the only hell they ever raised! But the great news is I did turn out pretty good and they are both very proud of me now!

my mom always used my full name when she was mad
right before she would say "when your father gets home I'm going to tell him EXACTLY what you did and you are gonna get it young lady!!"
or she would always threaten us with "I pray you have kids and they turn out just like you...then you will pay for your raising!!"
along with the ever popular. "don't make me come in there, i will make you wish you were never born!!"
lol well i am a parent now and boy am i paying for every grey hair i put in my parents head!!

I was told one time to stop whatever I was doing that wasn't acceptable. If I didn't....nothing else was said...I just got a belt whipping and sent to my room.

they say "You know what!" And then if I cry they say" I'll give you somethin' to cry about!!!!!!" And then i stop, but when i'm real bad, my mom grabs me on the arm and makes me sit on the couch for 30 minutes and "Think About What I did."
