maybe he means it completely seriously, and he's worried that since a lot of people say "i love you" very casualy, he wants to make sure you mean it the same way as him

Just ask him why he sais that. But be seriouse.Say of course i do why do you ask that all the time.Do you think i dont.If he takes it the wrong way,try to explain what you mean.Like if he sais something like "I ask it because you arent seriouse.Or something like that. Then just say I am serious.I just dont understand why you say that.I hope things go well good luck.

He's probably not that seriously doubting you. It sounds like a playful reply and he just wants you to say that you are. Remember how Marisa Torme and Joe Pesci did it in the movie, "My Cousin, Vinni"? He would playfully ask her, "Are you sure?" and she would say, "Positive" (in a very sweet and sexy voice and manner).

Well ! When a boy starts using the "I love you bit" it usually means he's setting you up for the pastry resistance saying: PROVE-IT,that's when you'll know what he really wants. Watch-out.

if everything else in your relationship is going well, i dont think its that he doesnt trust you. but it is kinda routine to say "i love you too" when someone says it to you..so he may want you to say it the first time, not having to respond

hope this helps

goodluck and happy new year

Saying "i love you" doesn't mean anything if there is no love behind it. The best way to tell him you love him is to show him that you love him! If you show him your love he will stop asking.

You've either done something to make him not trust you or he has very low self-esteem. Have you tried asking him?
