ok well he has this gambling problem, and like he never gives me any alowance or anything! whenever i ask for $$$ he says i already have, and i dont! uhh i can NEVER shop with my friends because of this. oh and he thinks im a spoiled brat which im not! #1- i dont get anything i want, #2- i wear like the same clothes every 2 weeks, #3 uhhh i dont even want to say it

#1)it sounds like ur selfish. #2) who cares wat u wear at least u have clothes unlike some people out in the world

You are complaining about this right after the holidays??
The man works for a living to give you food, housing, at least 14 outfits of clothing, and your computer and Internet connection.
Maybe you should reexamine your priorities, figure out a way to earn your money, and start appreciating all that your dad does for you. He is not selfish. It costs tons of money just to give a child the bare essentials of life - and I am sure you have far more than that.

don't sound to me like your dad has much of a gambling problem. It sounds to me like you need to show more responsibility by getting a job and buying some of your own things such as clothes. If you wear some of the same clothes every two weeks hunni--you're not hurting much for clothes and don't need everthing you want. Show your father some respect and he might show you some back.

you are the issue...get a job and make your own money to blow! what your dad does with "HIS" money is none of your business. As long as you have a roof over your head, clothes on your back and food in your stomach he is providing and you are better off then thousands of others in the world...GROW UP & stop acting like a victim! count your blessings and stop thinking only of yourself!

there are two ways where you can tackle this...
1) show him that you desperately need the money and that it is not right to waste money on gambling than on his child that needs it
2) you can always get a job ...... it could be that your dad is teaching you a wierd lesson on how to depend on yourself bacuause sooner or later that is what will happen
