Okay, I just have to say this ... why is it that every time anyone mentions having sex with someone under 18, everyone shouts 'Statutory Rape!' etc?
This page says 'Yahoo! Answers UK & Ireland' at the top, and in the UK it is NOT illegal to have sex with anyone over the age of 16, regardless of the other person's age.
IThere is nothing in this particular Question to suggest that the persons concerned are living in the USA yet most of the answers seem to indicate that this is somehow a given. Please, USA, I love you dearly but stop presuming that you are the whole world!
**** IDIOT ALERT!!!!**** TAKE A LOOK AT JUDE'S Q&A - he oscillates between 24 and 32, male and female, married and single ...what an attention-seeker! But my gentle chiding of our US cousins still stands!

You could try using KY jelly or something, and make sure she is relaxed before trying. She may not be totally ready and that's why she is tensing up. Maybe having a drink beforehand may try to help you both relax. Also, don't plan a 'time to have sex'. Thats prob why it's not working, because she's worrying about it and thinking about it all day before the time comes. Just let it happen naturally on the spur of the moment.
I don't think she is too young for you, (in England she wouldn't be classed as a minor, as she's over 16). Some 17 year old girls are better going out with someone a little more mature, and as you get older, the age gab will seem to get smaller.
If it is still painful for her, I would go to the doctor to make sure everything is ok. Just in case she has anything wrong that may cause problems for her fertility etc. in the future.

Good luck hope 2007 brings you mating pleasure you are after x x
and ignor what everyone else has said i was 17 when i started having sex with my 24yr boyfriend and we are still together, engaged and i am 7 weeks pregnant and the most happiest women ever. AND TO PEOPLE IF HE LIVES IN THE UK SHE IS LEGALLY ALOUD TO HAVE SEX AT 16!!!!! so get off his back!!!
1 tip for you, take it nice and slowly dont rush the sex thing and it can take some women up to half and hour to get horny, and enough mostiure down there to make it easier to insert, exslpor and see what she likes and visa versa.
hope this helps.

First of all dude as far as I know she's still a minor so you two shouldn't be doing this anyway. However I would find this abnormal and you should probably have her go see a doctor. The hymen is supposed to break during a girl's first participation in intercourse that is why it is said that it hurts for girls when they do it the first time. So yeah I'd see a doctor. But be careful you could have problems if she's still legally considered a minor.

OK, you have not "date" several times, you have tried to have SEX several times. It's not "merging" it's having sex. She is too tense and nervous. It is not abnormal for a young girl to be nervous and experience this the first time she has sex.
She can go to a doctor and get something but you never go to doctors. That's stupid to not go to a doctor. If it truly is her hymen, a doctor can break it to make that part easier but she needs to be relaxed and ready for sex.
BTW - do you know that what you are doing is illegal? She's underage and what you are doing is called statutory rape.

Sounds a bit young for you but I guess age doesn't matter if you are in love. 16 is the legal age in the UK but not sure where you are so be careful there. If you really love each other then surely you can wait a year or so?
She may be as well to seek medical advise. Certainly don't go too mad as you will hurt her and could cause internal damage or infection.

Lol will said Angel.
As long as she is over 16 she is free to have sex with who ever she wants, try to take it slow and dont rush it make sure she is relaxed first.
I started having sex at 17 with my boyfriend who was 21, we are now married with 3 kids and as happy as ever, im only 25 now and he is 29 and now no one questions our age now but when we was younger people did.
Its gonna hurt to break her hymen but if she uses tampons it shoudl of already broken for her, if not its time to go to the doctors.

Everyone is telling you she is too young, but age should not matter when you love someone.
So try to relax her before sex, cause her knowing you're going to have sex..she can contract and that makes it difficult for both of you.
Remember sex should be pleasurable. Try just laying in bed and listen to music it helps people to relax.
Good luck and Happy new years to you both. xx

She needs to see a doctor. Painful intercourse is not normal and could be a sign of an infection of some sort. I'm not saying that she has an STD (even though some STD's can cause painful intercourse) but some bacterial infections of the vagina (and sometimes yeast infections) can cause this.

You could try to find a girlfriend in your age group and stop preying on girls much too young for you.
