I have an old SE2593W Zenith television with component video connections but cannot figure out how to connect a dvd player and operate it. Any help?

See if there is an Input or Source button on the remote.
In Some VCRs/TVs you use the Ch+/- button. Go to channel 2, then hit ch- , maybe it will go through the auxiliary inputs.
Finally, see if there is Menu button on the remote. Navigate it until you find a way to switch inputs.

On the remote should be an AUX button...you must enable those jacks...if its not on the remote, in may be listed in the menu...
