We got a plasma tv and want to hook up HD.?

We need certain cables that the instruction book calls for to get HD TV. It calls for "19 pin HDMI" cables... what does the "pin" mean?

Pin is the number of connectors inside the big connector. Don't worry, there is only one kind you can buy at Radio Shack, and that is what you need.
