does anyone know anything about our troops since sadam was executed? i havent heard from my guy....he was supposed to email today.....are they on alert? is there chaos in iraq?

I hope they can come home now. Many of them are young, have kids and wives at home. Bush is wrong for interfering with another countries problem, claiming they needed our help. If they need us, they should also protect us. One of my old friends is a soldier, and he told us how many of the soldiers get killed by snipers on the street while the Iraqi civilians aren't harmed at all. If another country wanted help, they'd also protect the people helping them. It's so much lies going on, that people don't know exactly what to think. I think this whole war is stupid, and they way it started is the cause. Why bomb Iraq if the whole 9/11 plot started in Hamburg Germany, then Afghanistan? Where is Bind Laden? We got Abu Musab, then Saddam, but what about Bin and Ahmen Al-zawari? It's ashame how Republicans have our men and women. running in circles. None of their children are fighting and dying for a stupid cause. And majority of them are poor.

There was a curfew imposed in anticipation of violence and chaos increasing with the execution.. Probably more soldiers are out and around enforcing the curfew.

My husband is deployed as well.I talked to him today.Probably depends on where yours is.My husband says things were getting more chaotic a few days ago and expects it to be that way and worse for a while. Dont believe all you hear on the news,because it isnt as accurate as some may think.Hope you hear from him soon!God Bless!

There have been shootings and I think they are trying to keep peace. Pray for him and I am sure he is fine.
