Last friday i went ice skating with my freind, Girl lets call her that girl has a bro lets call him bro girls bro started to skate with me we talk we have been giving each other mixed singnals he says you like to ice skate i say yea he says Do you want to go with me next sunday night new years for this big bash i said yea! now i dont know what this means? hes not very shy

It sounds like he wants a date. Forget all those mixed signals. And you say you've been giving each other mixed signals, so I have a question for you. Why are you knowingly giving the guy mixed signals? Isn't that an unintentional complication?

Well, maybe he just wants to go somewhere with you, or maybe he likes you. There's no real way for me to tell, but my guess based on what he's said is that he likes you. Don't worry so much about what it means right now. Just hang out with him for now and see where it leads.

The first instance of "mixed signals" you're talking about is very questionable. The "yawn hand over the shoulder move"? Seriously, guys don't think about all that stuff. Very few of them even know how to interpret body language on the spot, much less deliberately show certain body language.

The second one, well, I wouldn't jump to any conclusions over. But he did stop that fight for you, didn't he? I think he probably likes you. It is a little weird to see girls fight though.

I suggest you go out with him and see how it goes. If it goes well, maybe you should ask him out. Or, you could at least ask him to go somewhere with you like he's asking you to go with him now. If you like him, you need to start hanging out with him a bit sometimes. If I had to put money on it, I would definitely say that he likes you. You might eventually try to ask him to be your boyfriend. Good luck!
