i meet this boy that i like he says he likes me a lot but he not ready for a relationship but he does want to get to know me better befor he knows if hes ready for a relationship

Depends on how long you two have known eachother. If only a short time, then his wanting to take time is respectable. If he is talking to a bunch of women, and seems to always blow you off, chances are he's playing you. However if you're the only one, he's probably sincere.

I've done this myself, chances are he's gotten out of a recent r'ship or has been hurt in the past, which would mean he isn't ready to commit to a r'ship. He's more into having fun and messing around rather than commitment. Chances are he's also talking to other chicks, trying to work out his options.

he doesnt want the boyfriend title. so make sure you DONT HAVE SEX. simple as that. if he says or acts as though he wants to get busy. say how you figure Mr. not ready for a relationship. and then if he tries to pretend for a month or so that he wants one, make his azz wait a few more months. if he sticks around and actually says he wanted a relationship then i would continue. yeah he is trying to play you. for a piece of azzz.

his not playing you, he wants to know you better and it probably a good way of starting he may find that he likes you more as a friend than a girlfrien and then you both wont get hurt. you are lucky that this guy wants to know you first as most just want what they can get and say laters.
