Check out the Toyota 4 Runner. I got my third one a month ago. I keep them for ten years and usually have about 130000 miles on them. I do all the maintenance, and they have never been in the shop. Bullet proof!

if you are looking in the pilot/sequoia price range, you might also consider the Land Rover LR3. It was Motor Trend SUV of the year when it debuted, started out with some quality problems, but I think all has been resolved... everything I have read has been very complimentary. Can't go wrong with Toyota or Honda especially considering that FoMoCo owns Land Rover. That is slightly scary. If you want a car like cross-over... many new contenders are getting ready to hit the market over the next year including some much needed updates to the Murano/FX4. Happy Hunting!

I recommend looking at the:

07 Acura MDX
07 Volvo XC90
07 Nissan Pathfinder
07 Mitsubishi SUV (any model)
07 Audi Q7

The SUVs I've listed are in the same price range as the Sequoia and they are nice cars to drive.

there are various components in contact that impact gasoline intake and basically as a results of fact an engine has a smaller displacement would not inevitably mean that it will get extra helpful gasoline financial equipment. those autos would desire to get very on the factor of a similar yet you have gotten maintenance themes with the steer sparkling of such as worn spark plugs, grimy air filter out, low tire pressures or perhaps probably an oxygen sensor that has degraded to the factor the place it somewhat is affecting gasoline financial equipment yet not undesirable sufficient to the place it somewhat is considered as a concern via the laptop. Have it checked for maintenance needs and replace the oxygen sensor if the motor vehicle has extra advantageous than 80k . sturdy luck.

bmw is always the way to go, if you can afford it. The x3 seats five and drives like a car, the new x5, seat seven and drives like a sports car. If you can swing it, go for the x5, I've had a lot of drive time with this SAV. on and off road, this thing is the new sliced bread.
