There are some so-called Christians who hide behind their computers on here so they can bash other people and spout their personal hatred. How can you call yourself a Christian and then behave like a barbarian? Those are the ones who make a bad name for Christianity as a whole. What would their God say about that?

As you can see, now they're all riled up. What I'm saying is people act like jerks and then go around saying they're Christians. Am I supposed to be impressed??? Well, I'm not. I don't want anything to do with people like that. And if my question pissed you off, you're one of them.

You want a name? How about "Ex GI-Joe"? He's the one that I'm talking about.

don't worry about it . You already know they are Christian in name only, and others figure it out in time too.

A christian that cared about the God they supposedly love, would not act that way, because God sees all, and knows the heart. Christians have good and bad days and are not perfect, therefore, fall under scrutiny. They don't claim to be perfect, but people like you seem to think they should be. Again, thankfully, God is forgiving, but also just, and even christians have to give answers for all the words they spoke on earth. They don't get a completely free ride. They will have words with God, even if they escape the lake of fire.

We Christians are people, and no better than anyone else, so I'm sure some of us have done as you say. I have seen some Christians bash others on here, but much more often I've seen trolls spout hatred either at Christians or while masquerading as Christians. As far as bashing, Christians are usually on the receiving end. I don't recall seeing your posts complaining about people bashing us Christians. . .
The whole practice of bashing others is certainly unpleasant, but I'd hardly call it a "disturbing trend."

My God ( and by the way He can be yours too) hates that. He calls it HYPOCRISY and it's like a huge ABOMINATION TO THE LORD. That's why in many of the gospels, Jesus kicked it with Sinners and average Joes NOT the religious pharisees and sudducees (think of them as religious right televangelistsof the day). this is why the religious leadership at the time sought to kill Jesus, because He quoted scripture and the true application of it to their face and THEYWEREN'T FOLLOWING WHAT THEY WERE PREACHING and made up traditions rather than following the word of God.
Christians ( I myself included) make mistakes and get angry and when we don't follow our Lord closely, unfortunately, we make STUPID bonehead moves, and get defensive or whatever else... So on behalf of my brothers and sisters out there if we offended you I apologize. It seems we get attacked alot in these rooms but I see how it goes both ways and instead of showing those who are seeking answers and guidance we flame throw you with theology and "righteousness" We're just saved by God's grace and not by our works friend. I am sorry if you have taken the bad actions and poor sayings of others as a true representation of the Christian faith. We are to shine before all men, be the salt and light not bitterness and hatred

A Christian is someone who should love one another and act according to the way Christ would act. Sprouting personal hatred behind their computers so that they can bash someone up is not Christian like manners. In my opinion God would be disappionted in them...

God said to love everyone as you would love yourself. Some people who claim to be Christians don't walk the walk, that's what gives Christianity a bad name but we can pray for those people.

"Their" God would doubtless say, "well done good and faithful servant" since "their" God is the baleful spirit of their imaginings and a reflection of their own spiteful dispositions, just as "your" God is a reflection of your own more charitable disposition. The God of Jewish and Christian scripture can be fitted to the extremes of both positions and all points in between. Which God you imagine is entirely dependent on which God you find most attractive or most terrifying and whether you imagine God as the strict and angry deity who demands flattery for himself, or the tolerant and nurturing deity who desires success for his "children." I think your relationship with your parents probably has the most effect on which version you imagine, but whatever the version, it's all make-believe.

Some Christians make it look bad for us all. Just like everything else. No need to get hasty.

"How can you see hate and think you see Jesus? Rather you are a believer or not everyone knows that Jesus was love walking.... nothing about him was hateful, and if you do not see love you do not see Jesus!"
When you see a true Christian you will know him, because he will keep our Father's commandments!
Grateful to God our Lord says it's not how people treat us but how we treat them...
