There is no such thing, so you will have a difficult time.

Pomeranians are in the Toy group, so the breed standard on them will be for them to be 3-7 pounds.

If you are interested in Poms but aren't sure of the terminology, it's time to do more research. You aren't at the 'adoption' or purchasing phase yet.

You'll want to start at the APC - American Pomeranian Club. http://www.americanpomeranianclub.org/ Read everything you can on this site, especially the 'about poms' area and the breeder referral area http://www.americanpomeranianclub.org/breeder_referral.htm

If you want to adopt, then the two best places to look are with your local Pom rescue program, http://www.americanpomeranianclub.org/rescue.htm , and http://www.petfinder.com . I constantly see purebred poms come up for rescue around my area - some are still tiny puppies.

If you don't want to adopt, then the breeder referral page above is a must along with:

http://www.geocities.com/bluegracepwd/wheretobuy.html
http://64.37.122.206/Info/questionstoaskabreeder.asp?menu=Info (change to fit poms)

Good luck to you in your search. : )

PS - Anyone who tries to sell you a "teacup" or "miniature" should be run from. There is no such thing and any decent breeder would know that. Dogs sold as this come from poor quality pets and poor quality breeders. AVOID them at ALL costs.

All pomeranians are miniature, so you can drop the miniature. A good place to start are breed rescue groups. Here is one I found on the net. They can help find a dog just for you. There are many pomeranian rescues out there. Most of these dogs were great dogs, just had owners who could not keep them for whatever reasons. You can even find puppies, if that is what you desire. Best to you in your search.

There is no such thing as miniature Pomeranians. Pomeranians are a toy breed to start with. Those sold as Miniature or teacup are nothing more then poms bred smaller then the breed standard allows or that are runts of the litter. Many times they have serious health issues. These dogs that are delibrately bred smaller then standard are being bred irresponsibly and the terms "teacup" and "miniature" are nothing more then marketing ploys.

In general, extra-giant an extra-tiny dogs are one big health problem. Delightful little dogs like Poms often end up with a myriad of health problems when breeders create a "special" extremely small size of them. The same goes for "teacup" dogs and many "mini" varieties.

If you'd like a Pom, breeders are easy to find. Contact a local veterinarian for recommendations, or conatact a local or national breed club.

first there is no such thing as a miniature pom and second please don't let a breeder charge you an exorbitant amount for a breed that doesn't exist. a small pom comes from a small mom and a small dad. according to breed standard a pom should be about 5 to 7 (approx.) lbs.

hi there. sorry i cannot help you with a website for purchasing a min pom, but just make sure you price around first as alot of breeders on the internet can be overpriced. incase you don't already know just be sure that you pay for what you get as in be sure that they have been vaccinated, wormed, vet checked etc if you are spending $300 plus. just my opinion as dogs these days can be very pricey.
also depending on what sort of age dog u r looking at getting you could do a search for the rspca and keep an eye out there for abandoned strays, unwanted poms or litters of pups as alot of pet owners surrender there animals when they move towns, into rentals etc . goodluck. hope it helped.
