If you show stage presence like smile you will be more likely to stand out then someone who doesnt smile at all. Also just take deep breaths and think it will all be over soon. Once you are out there you will forget all about your nerves. To stay confident just keep precticing as much as you can before the big day. Good Luck!

I am in 6th grade too and my talent show was in November. I did it with 1 of my friends and we did a tap routine to I Gotta Feeling and then switched to a jazz routine to Paparazzi. I didn't think Paparazzi was a good jazz song, bit that's what she wanted to do, so I gave in. Anyway, I don't think Thug Story is a good song for school. You guys should do a really great song that's catchy and hopefully, if you guys have had a lot of dance experience, it will turn out great! I reccomend doing funk jazz and you can look on YouTube for good songs. Good luck!!!!!

if you wear something bright and showy you will be most noticed! when it's time to make the final decision, the judges have recognized you and will say "oh yeah i saw her, she was the one wearing the bright red headband, i couldn't take my eyes off of her!" also don't change anything about your audition when it's time to audition. Because you will be nervous, you might tend to spin out of control, or even fall. stay calm and pretend that you are practicing by yourself. give big smiles and try to be as bubbly and nice as you can be. if you are friendly the judges will be sure to think twice about your auditions.

Smile a lot and if you happen to make a mistake just keep on going and and pretend it wasn't there. Pretend the audience wasn't people judging you and think of them as family and friends and it truly doesn't matter what they think cause you did your best and you know it! Good luck I hope you get the part!

To stand out, try doing something that will help people remember you. Maybe something that shows off your flexibility, like doing the splits or a heel stretch. Just something that will make people think "whoa that was cool. I wish i could do that" as you walk off the stage. Maybe even just a cute pose at the end. I dunno. Whatever floats your boat. Good Luck =]

Dont look at the floor!!!
whilst dancing keep your head up, smile (but not a fake grin!)
extend and exagerate your movements, dont think about anything!! just concerntrate on the music and dont try and think of your next moves, just concerntrate on the music.

xXx
Good luck!!

Smile, keep your head up and do not under any circumstances look at your feet. It's the mark of an unbearable beginner.
