Sometimes, I see pizza with white sauce. What is this sauce?

The original pizza had no red sauce. Just olive oil and toppings. There have a few white sauces here, one is a creamy garlic sauce and the other is an Alfredo cheesy sauce.

It's a cheese sauce. Like fettucini alfredo is made with. You can find jars of this next to the tomato sauce in the grocery store.

sure can the white sauce youve seen is most likely alfedo or garlic sauce. they both taste good especilly if it is a chicken pizza. i make pizzas at work and we use tomato, alfredo and garlic sauces one guy i work with likes his pizza without sauce.

the sauce is tomato sauce so the pizza can have a little more flavor.

You can make pizza any way you want. You can make it with no sauce if you want to.

I believe it is an Alfredo sauce. I tried it once and it was different but good.
