Don't be so fast to order up antibiotics. Those sound like little crypts of infection, but generally not a big deal unless they are numerous, causing major pain or swelling, or serving as a source for systemic infection. Gargle with mildly salted, warm water. Normally after a few days, they will drop out.

Usually they shouldn't stink, but if there is food particles or certain pathogenic bacteria, they can raise bad odors. Your white "things" need to be distinguished from white "patches" which can signify a variety of different infectious conditions.

A quick inspection by your health professional can give you an idea as to whether these are serious or not.

It is correct they are tonsilloliths or tonsil stones. One does not need an antibiotic but to flick them out with a toothbrush. The only permanent cure is to have your tonsils removed.

They're called tonsilloliths or tonsil stones. Google it and you'll get a ton of information. What they are is little lumps of bacteria, food, and plaque, things like that, that get trapped in little crypts in your tonsils. Hope I helped!:)
