I frown upon BAD weaves. I applaud those that are well done and undetectable.

I was at a wine tasting with my ski club. This lady had a NICE hairstyle/cut that was very flattering. The wind blew and I saw a track...I wanted to DIE. I'm the Queen of Fake Hair and I couldn't tell she had a weave, it was done that well.

I think it's a personal issue. For some people, they're the right thing to do and they're undetectable if they're done well. For others, they're obvious and therefore, a waste of money, better spent on something else.

A lot of guys, in particular, deal with loosing their hair badly. I think it's much worse to try to hide the fact than it is to just go with it and do the best you can with what you have to work with.
