We're in the military and our son has autism. I was wondering if there were any special grants or organizations that could help us? We're in the lower part of the pay scale. We also have a daughter, but so far no signs of autism with her. Thanks.

Try a Google or Yahoo search for "Autism Foundation." This will bring up a list of charatible foundations for autism, many of whom provide grants to families for intervention programs (there are too many to list here). Some of them are just for their local states or areas though. There are a lot of great, free resources online to help you as well. Here are some of my favorites:

i understand in Wisconsin you are able to qualify for in-homestead scientific care in the time of the Wisconsin Early Autism project, and that they waive fees for scientific care in the journey that your newborn meets specific standards. WEAP is likewise accessible on a consultation foundation for families outdoors Wisconsin, nonetheless it sounds like no be counted in case you may get a waiver on fees relies upon on the place you reside. At any cost, I truly have seen some astounding beneficial properties in scholars who've labored with those therapists, and the internet internet site sounds like a stable beginning place no be counted the place you reside. suited to you and your loved ones - do on no account provide up desire or doubt your instincts approximately your newborn.
