is that asking too much? Im Jewish and my wish is that I will stay close to Jesus as my best friend and to share him with others so they can have his salvation, friendship and true happiness.
why cant anyone answer that question with like whatever-to have a happier home, more prayer, to read the bible more, to have better friends, not to get drunk, not to fornicate, to live for God, something but not like -'no wish or prayer'=Dah?

When I first started answering on this forum, it disturbed me when I saw the lack of proper response to these questions, and also some of the ludicrous questions. We need not get discouraged when we find these things, we as believers have an eternal hope, which we wish to share with others, that the world doesn't have. Certainly they are entitled to their own choices, though we know what the consequences will be for them. As much as in us is we must take the high road, and loving confront their error, though they may not wish us to. Whether we get voted as best answer is irrelative to whether we share the Good news of Messiah. We are merely seed sowers and He is the one who is responsible, ultimately, for the resultant harvest. Let me share a couple of links which have some insight that may assist you as you reach out to others and which will give you some inspiration.

My prayer is that as we search for the God of Abraham, Isaak and Jacob that we grow in love with God and our fellow man. I believe that as you do all those things you stated that your relationship with Jesus will grow stronger. Remember, following Jesus is not so much living by strict rules but by the grace of God. My prayer for you is that you discover this year the really meaning of the grace of God. It is a wonderful thing and something the Jewish nation under the Torah did not have. They had to live by the rules or suffer the consequences. God Bless you and may the New Year bring you much joy and peace.

my prayer wish is that messiah jesus would materialize in my living room while i watch law and order on february 17th, 2007, at about 8 pm. and stay visible for 5 minutes, then disappear. shouldn't be too difficult for the creator to swing that.

true Christians view Jan 1st as any other day. so would Jesus. the new year is not the same as it was in Jesus day.but Jesus wish was that all men would call on Jehovah's name and be saved even Jewish ones.

My new years wish is to win the lottery in several states, even though I don't play. I also wish for everyone else to get off the road when I'm driving so that I don't have to deal with traffic. Finally, I wish for my dog to stop using my carpet as a bathroom.

My new years wish is to get drunk more, fornicate more, have lots of unmarried sex with numerous married women, to try to convince everyone that they're lunatics if they believe in a fictional supernatural being that is all knowing and all seeing. Oh and also to make **** loads of money to satiate my greed!
