How can a make a sandstone block to use as an excavation block for my childs dinosaur party?

I would like to make them myself at home so we could put our own fossils, eggs and stones in them. I have 1 week before the party! HELP! To buy these are a bit expensive to buy for all of the kids. Thanks!

maybe try putting water, sand, and glue in and letting it harden. The glue will hold it together and the water will allow you to place stuff, once it is placed compress it and drain most of the water out. Good Luck

I guess I'm not sure what you mean, but when we were kids we would have pretend dinosaur eggs and fossils in our sand box to "dig". Have enough for each child to find one to take home.
