I'm 15 and I have the most wonderful boyfriend. I love his mom too....she's so nice to me and understands everything when I talk to her. Is she genuine or just doing it for her son?

Both. She probably knows he likes you and probably likes you herself because you make her son happy. She sounds like a nice mom - just take it at that.

COuld be either. Does it matter? When do you want to get married? Like 30. In 15 years this dude is gonna be history for the last 13 years and his mom is some lady.

Don't worry about it. Enjoy it while it's there, and enjoy the next thing that comes along too.

But don;t spill too much personal information on her. She's not a permanent part of your life, and its best not to have a person who's not a permanent part of your life running around the world with lots of knowledge about your inner thoughts. That could come to bit you if this relationship turns bad or if she isn't genuine.

If she becomes a permanent fixture in your life, meaning you marry her boy, then confide, but be guarded. In-laws are never to be fully trusted.

You're 15. You should get a drivers licence before a marriage licence. Love is a wonderful thing. You have to be mature enough to fully appreciate it. I'm sorry but at 15, true love is very rare. His mother is probably happy he's got a girlfriend. Give it a few years before you start thinking about genuine feelings.

How could I tell you that? I've never talked to her, I've never seen her. Try adding some examples of why or why not you think she's genuine. She could be just doing it for her son, it's almost impossible to tell anyways, you can't read her mind.

I'd bet it's real. You're lucky to find a wonderful boyfriend, much less have his mom like you too. Enjoy the relationship-both of them!

This is exceptionally unselfish and genuine of her. Too many moms are possessive and try to say negative things so they can keep their little boys forever attached to them. Then when they are grown men, they are mentally crippled by mommy.

I think that you would be able to tell if she was not for real. I believe that she is the real thing and she likes you for more than just her son

That's a tough one. I think you should give her the benefit of the doubt. Often, when mothers don't like who their children are dating, they will let them know quite clearly. Since you haven't seen or felt her express negativity, I think you should just be thankful and enjoy your relationship with your boyfriend. Good luck!

It's say that she's genuine. My ex's, well his step mom talked to me all the time. we always had great conversations. and we'd talk about my b/f, Danny. and all that. she didn't do it so that she could know what was going on in his life. she wanted to get to know me cause Danny told her how much he loved being with me.

Some things are too good to be true but then again some thing are just destiny. Ask ur boyfriend if there is any thing his mother doesn't like about you. Some people are just amazing!
