On the list of programs (Start/Programs) on Windows XP is it possible to create a folder that holds similar programs? For example, can I make a folder that will have Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Reader, etc?

This is easy to do. I do it all the time.

Right-click on the Start menu, and select the "Open All Users" option. This will display your start menu in a Windows Explorer view. You can navigate to All Programs, then you can create folders, drag and drop icons into them, move entire folders into them, etc.

Be careful not to permanently delete any icons -- they might be the only way you know to run the software on your pc.

Once you've finished reorganizing, simply close the explorer view (by hitting the X on the top right) and look at your start menu again... everything will be rearranged the way you wanted them.

btw - you can also reorganize the start menu without opening it in an explorer window, just by dragging and dropping the icons. You just can't create new folders without opening an explorer window.

Sorry, yet No. you should create a sparkling folder and bypass them one after the different. yet you may verify alot of them to be moved straight away out of each folder. like you delete junk mail on your e mail that receives previous the clear out.

very possible but you have to update the shortcuts to the programs so Windows can find them in their new location.

I think you can create shortcuts and put them all into one folder.
