It's an M4 for with a couple of goodies attached to it. The difference between and M4 and an M16 is the length of the barrel and the butt stock. The M4 has a shorter barrel than the M16, and the butt stock is collapsible.

The upper and lower receivers are obviously 5.56mm like an M4. Its modular heatshields/handguards and collapsible buttstock are that of an M4. But the sound suppressor and front sight aperture throws me. Perhaps it is a product of some civilian modifications. At any rate, I don't know of any units that use these as their standard assault rifles. Especially with silencers.

The 798 is definitely made in Serbia, and are a especially first rate Mauser action, however the CZ 550 is larger, and at a cost that beats your pricing for a CDL. The CZ is international type (BRNO Safari rifles),and is a stronger value for that pricing--and you will often discover them at decrease than indexed retail. A CDL remains a sort seven-hundred,and because I see numerous 700s decrease than $six hundred that's my shrink in the previous i glance at extra beneficial recommendations besides. I grew up with a 725 BDL custom interior the gun case,so a seven-hundred isn't a spiritual icon to me. i purchase the suited gun for the money, and these days that would recommend CZ,Tikka/Sako,and presently the T/C ICON because of the fact it has a $a hundred and fifty rebate software happening and Nikon scopes are tied into them too.something to think of approximately. i've got seen Kimbers close to $900 so which you are going to be rattling specific i'm no longer spending that form of money on a Remington. the seven-hundred CDL isn't a pig with lipstick in a promenade gown, even if if it specific isn't the "Bell of the Ball" while in comparison with different makes. returned,Sako is a stronger rifle at that value too. pass evaluate a Sako with a seven-hundred and tell me which one you may certainly want. And the Sako is accessible in a walnut inventory, basically like the CZ does.
