Maybe. Is it a floating or sinking line? WF? What taper? Or are you asking if your rod can manage the line?? heres the key to line... in a nutshell. For surface, use a 2 to 6 WF or a double taper. For everything else us a 4 thru 10. All sinking lines sink to the same depth, they just do it at different speeds. You need to know what your fishing, where they are at, and use the correct line. To carry more than one line, buy extra spools and not a new reel. I could go on and on about fly size, tippets, weighted and quick descent lines, but its really an as needed thing. Thats the challenge of fly fishing. You adapt your presentation to the changes. Good luck!!

Yes, you can use wet fly line (sink-tip).
The weight of a fly-line is measured in grains,
I am attaching a link for you.
If the weight of the sink tip fly line is within specs, you can use it on your rod. A spare spool would be fine. I always carry a sink-tip
with me on a spare spool if I need to "go deep".

No, but the rule of thumb is try to match line weight and reel weight with rod weight.

I would assume wet line means sinking?

Sinking or floating line will be fine, just stick to the weight your rod is designed for.

Has some good info and they answer questions pretty promptly. I prefer them and sell their stuff all the time.

Use sinking tip to get down a little, full sinking line to get down faster. There is even treatment for your line to weight it more (although I have never used it myself)
