Ignorant people have abused the breed. Unfortunately the only thing people know is the bad things. what i hate the most is that they only televise pit attacks......other dogs bite but they don't report it as much as that breed. people don't realize that with training ANY dog can be a killer or a sweet heart.

Good owners NEVER command a dog to bite, it is owners who act in this way that give the breed a bad name.

There is an excellent informational website posted by a responsible Pit Bull owner that will tell you how to look after your dog & why people are afraid of them, it's worth the read even if you don't own one.

they aren't dangerous unless the owner makes them this way. Lots of times pits are treated badly and forced to fight(which is illegal in the USA). This breed is used more so than others for fighting. This may be why people associate the breed with meaness. Another reason is because When a pitbull attacks it intends on killing its victim. It has a very powerful jaw that locks down on the victim that is near impossible to unlock. Some states are trying to outlaw the breeding of pitbulls and I do believe some already have. Hopefully people aren't stupid enough to pass a law to get rid of this breed. Like I said it's nothing to do with the dog, but the way that the owner raises it, and that goes for any breed of dog.

each and every thing you hear approximately them being clearly aggressive Is a fantasy. I wanna see evidence. I wanna see learn on Pitbull's being clearly aggressive then i'm going to have self belief yet for ultimate now theres none. basically out of loss of coaching on people and organic lack of expertise people think of they're risky. while there are comments of Pitbull's killing a guy or woman it spreads international throughout Fox information, manhattan situations magazine, yet a Pomeranian killed a baby and a Siberian Husky attacked a women folk and not something occurred. dogs's are like toddler's and baby's advance them ultimate they are going to be good, advance them horribly then you definitely set your self a capture. people basically blame the breed yet while do we start up blaming the people? people by no potential take accountability of our strikes and we basically blame the breed. It’s no longer the breed that makes a competent important different All canines are great companions. communication creates a partnership and canines have the least complicated communication interior the international. For them, each and every thing is approximately have confidence, appreciate and love.

I used to have a pitbull named Hercules and he was a very gentle dog. He was cool I taught him a whole bunch of tricks. But one day he dug under the fence and killed three cats! He also killed like three possums!!! They may seem very kind and gentle but I guess everyone and everything have an evil side to them! I also heard on the local news one day that a pitbull attacked a 3 year old girl!!!! I guess it's just the reputation that the country set on them, that made people scared of pitbulls.

People think it has a bad rep, a street dog kid of thing. It will bite without cause. My friend was bit by a pitbull, but it was a stray. She's fine. I don't hate pitbulls, but if they aren't socialized is when they may be dangerous. Any dog is dangerous if it isn't socialized. It is just a tougher dog than most. Doberman Pincher's are actually more dangerous, especially if not socialized. But I don't care. I socialized mine and she's friendly.

I would say it is because the majority of people that own them use them as tools of intimidation. If you teach a dog to be mean, he will be mean. If you abuse a dog, chances are he will be mean. It is because owners have given the dog a bad rap. It doesn't help that the breed is also very powerful. I mean, I have seen alot of mean chihuahua's that are much more quick to bite than a pit bull. But...a chihuahua is not that scary.

Why would you name your dog Hitler? That's pretty insensitive. And you said he bites on command? What kind of a sadist are you? If you train your dog to be aggressive and bite then he will be aggressive, and he may be dangerous, even in the hands of a skilled trainer(which I doubt you are.) Do you tell your friends that he bites people if you tell him to? That might have something to do with it.

Maybe it's also because pit bulls were bred to be dog fighters, and don't let go of things (like faces or limbs or nuts) once they clamp down.

they are were aggressive breed and are bred for that reason and no matter who ever have one must always stay alert. it could be a noise or sudden move to make them attact. they are lovely looking dogs but l really would not want to have that breed of dog. l will choose a ugly hound before l take the ownership of a pitbull. good luck and l hope he is always going to be gentle
