as long as the juice is still hot in the pan, you should be ok, Though i'm not sure how yummy that would be, even coming from a codfish lover! lol

I often cook the potatoes and the cod together. It is the way we do it where I live. It turns out a bit like a chowder. We usually also add onions and maybe a little milk and cheese.

Please cook the potatoes in fresh water. Otherwise, your potatoes will taste like codfish. Not my first choice....

use freshwater to cook your potatoes,but season your fishwater with chicken stock,make a qt.use 4oz butter in a pan,add 4oz of flour,mix in for a couple of mins,slowly add the hot stock,when finish let it simmer 10min.This is a basic sauce for your fish,you can add anything to it,and what you dont use ,keep in the fridge.
