if you must drink the adult kool aid crap, it should be served cold. it does not need to breath as it probably has only been in the bottle for like a month tops.

for the record, white zin is not red wine. although it is made from zinfandel (red) grapes. wine is left in contact for a few hours with the skin giving it pink cast. Please do not confuse it with red wine. Totally different animal.

friends don't let friends drink white zin. riesling or gewurztraminer are better anyways.

That really depends on what kind of wine you are serving. However, here are some general rules: Most white wines should be served chilled, and most reds served room temperature. As for the cork; I don't find a problem with doing that, so long as you drink it within a decent amount of time (probably no longer than a couple weeks) but some might disagree.

White Zinfandel definitely needs to be cold and doesn't need to breathe. That is one of the most popular wines these days. The colder the better.

it can served either room temp or cold, i prefer mine room temp. it does NOT need to breath at all. it loses a lot of its freshness if you open it too long before serving.
