My mom is being so mean to me. She said I was so ****** up it isn't even believable, said I am just like my ******* father, said all my friends are screwed up to, she has said she just wants me out of her life among others... Now she has made plans for New Years Eve with the rest of the family and I am stuck home alone? What is what up with that?

Ya, they divorced a year or two ago.

She gets mad at me for pointless things, like not noticing she put the Christmas Tree up or not noticing she cleaned the house

I'm really sorry to hear that sweetie but I think your mother could use some serious counseling. How old are you? Hopefully you don't have to live with her much longer!!! good luck and God Bless.

Sounds like my mother. I feel bad for you. My mother is EXACTLY like this. For example:
Today was the Christmas celebration with the entire family, except that my husband, myself and my children are not invited. We have not been invited for several years. She makes up lies about us and no one in the family will talk to us about it. We never get the chance to share our side of things.

I am not sure how old you are, but you may need to make the decision to leave her out of your life at some point. Don't allow her poison to spoil your holidays and your future. My brother has not spoken to my mother in 16 years and he is happier for it.

I wish I could give you a hug. Hang in there. Try to always do what is right, regardless of what she does. Respect and honor her as your mother, because that is the right way to be. Your actions can be honorable in the face of her crap. That makes YOU a good person.

I have a really good friend who is kind of in your position.
His mother is the same with him and sometimes she says those things and then shes fine the next minute.
Just dont let those things vent- I know it sounds hard to ignore what she says, but try it.
If you want to do something for New Years Eve, then ask a friend to sleep over or hang out.

Sounds to me like she is having a breakdown or something and blaming it on everyone.
Sounds like it is not a healthy environment to be in you need to find a safe place to stay until everything is sorted out.

And what did you do to make her say such a thing? Sounds like you're not telling the whole story, and for a mother to say something like that, you must have really hurt her. I think you should apologize.

it sounds like there is a piece of the story missing..if i had the whole story i could give you better advice..
as for new years eve ask her if you can please go with her and be with the rest of the family...maybe the two of you can make a new years resolution to communicate and work through whatever your problems are..
good luck..!!

Try talking to a psychiatrist or school counsellor (I don't know your age, so I can't say which would be more appropriate) who can have you and your mom sit down and work out your problems.

Sounds like you need to grow up and start earning your mothers respect. How shameful to loose your mothers love. You will be sorry for this.
