How can someone get qualified to be a Life Coach?

I am constantly drawn to this profession but don't know how to go about it. I have my BA in Sociology and plan to get my Masters in Counseling, but a Life Coach really intrigues me! Any info? Thank you.

But I would add that a college degree in psychology or management or or even pastoral theology might be used as a background for a life coach.
