You cant force your feelings,if they are not there, the only thing you can do is have more time apart and see if any old feelings return,if they don't its best to be honest and tell him, good luck!

If you are having to ask yourself how you can love him like you used to then you never loved him like you thought you did, and you'll never feel that way again...especially if you try to force it on yourself. It's kinda like that sweet toy you got as a kid that you were so excited about, but after awhile, you quit playing with it and never saw it again. Even if someone put it right in front of you years later you're not going to fall back in love with that toy. Now I realize he is not an inanimate object, but that's how it works. The best you can do for BOTH of you, is tell him he will always hold a special place in your heart and break it off. Don't be friends, just break it off clean and find yourself again. If it was meant to be, you'll run into him sometime in the future and the flames will be rekindled.

Don't try to manipulate your feelings, or else the relationship will always be a lie. Instead, if you don't feel anything anymore, let him know. That'll be a little harsh, though, so ask him out to somewhere good for couples. If there, you don't feel any connection, then you tell him. Don't answer him until you're SURE of your feelings. You never want to push someone away if there are still feelings!
It might seem hard to ask him out before answering, but if you've been with him a while, I'm sure you know the right way to strike his heart strings to go your way... if you can't, just say simply--if he wants you to explain, that you want to know...
Good luck, but don't lie to yourself if you find out you don't like him as much as before. If you don't like him anymore, make sure to give him time before you become his friend. If you're with him after this, I'm glad you've refound him! :-)

That is a good thing that you want to love him again. Maybe you should talk about the thing (s) that were first moved your heart for and toward him. As you both will spend some time together again, feelings and sweet affections will progressively develop. Be patient with yourself. If you really love him, give it some time for your love to grow in full maturity without giving up on him.

Yea I'm sorry but i agree with the first person?
your love for someone you truly love never changes?
if you don't love him the same? or not at all?
Its probably best to move on, not just for you but for him too, because its not right lying or keeping him waiting for something that isn't going to happen.

You can't force yourself to feel a certain way. If the way you used to feel is gone, it's time to face the facts and move on.

You have to tell him the truth of how you feel about him, thats the only way he will know.
Maybe if the both of you spent more time together than normal?
