Sure. To the above posters.

Climate scientists know all about past natural warming cycles. And they say that, due to man, this one will be unusually rapid and damage our agriculture and flood coastal areas, costing us huge sums of money. But we could save some of that money by acting now. It's not environmentalists who are saying that, it's the vast majority of climate scientists.

This large majority of climate scientists is opposed by a very few scientists (always a few dissenters to anything in science) and by large numbers of public relations people for the fossil fuel industry.

? What makes you think we CAN solve Global Warming? Isn't that like thinking we can stop flooding or hurricanes?

The Earth is warming. How much it will warm is beyond our understanding, regardless of what the anti-corporation propaganda machines tell you. As tenants on this planet, we should be more concerned about how we're going to continue to live on a planet with varying climates rather than insist the planet conforms to our desires. Perhaps, in the distant future, we'll have the technology to control our planet's climate like we do a room or office, but that's not the case now and its foolish and dangerous to believe we'll have that technology in the foreseeable future.

It's too late now. The wheels are in motion. About 10 years or less of global warming and then a couple thousand years of ice age.

If we stopped emitting all greenhouse gas, the climate would still be warming because the sun is the brightest it has been in 1000 years.

Anthropogenic greenhouse gasses are a significant contributor, but not the whole picture.

In Detroit tonight, its 50 degrees on New Years eve eve....so uh...yeah.

What are you doing to reduce your carbon emissions? The amount of refuse going to the curb etc.

I hope all you fools that think us "hippy tree lovers" need to open our eyes to the "conspiracy" about global warming would watch "An inconvenient truth"

Nope, educate yourself! There is way more that we don't know about the climate than that we do. Read, "State of Fear" for starters. Why is it so hard for people to believe that a company would pollute to make money, but so hard for them to believe that an environmental group would lie about the severity of something to make money?
