No, since the chocolate does not go on your face, it cannot clog up your pores. No food can cause acne.

This is a question I've wondered about all my life. You see, I am a chocoholic. I love the stuff. And, I cannot get enough of it. So considering that I must have eaten tons of the candy, and never have broken out in a body full of pimples - I am either very lucky or the pimple thing is a myth. I'm inclined to believe the latter. I have friends who crave chocolate as much as I do and they too do not suffer pimple breakouts. Does eating too much chocolate make you fat? Yes, and this is no myth. Alas, it is all too true. For me, pimples NO! Obesity yes.

It can, especially if you're in your early teens, and your body is going through the puberty stage. If your having a complexion problem, I have an acne treatment that has won me the best answer three times. Each time, the person said it worked great. I'll copy and paste it below.

Use a hot compress on it, and then use cool water to close the pores. Do the process over and over again, about five or six times. Use soap to wash the area, and then treat it with an alcohol soaked cotton ball. It should be gone within five to six hours.

Acne (pimples) is a common skin disease that occurs where sebaceuous glands are numerous - the face, upper back and chest. Acne seems to result from thickening of the follicular opening (pore), increased sebum production, the presence of bacteria and the person's own inflammatory response. Food has nothing to do with with it. And if I never saw this question again, I'd be happy.

It could.....If you notice you break out after eating chocolate you might have a food allergy to chocolate. You can go to your doctors and have a test done to find out if you do or don't.:)
