Wouldnt you think that scientific rigor would require some kind of model or correlation of human caused perturbations on the enviroment to actual climate change? Considering global climate models can not even correctly predict the measured past, and considering that the hypothesized "global climate change" radically shifts every couple of years (anyone remember global cooling and the next ice age?), there is no reason to honestly believe that humans are causing any significant change in the global climate.

Yes. Our own government recently admitted that global warming is responsible for the degeneration of the polar ice caps. It's causing the habitat for the polar bear to disappear, putting it on the endangered species list.
