I would like to know why so many under the age of 25 (male and female) are rather shallow these days.
this generation has been so overindulged they cannot think past themselves.

Same thing that was up with shallow guys at other times. They are shallow. If you don't want to deal with their low IQ, find a guy with a brain.

Humans are visual creatures, and males moreso than females...if a guy doesn't see something that visually attracts him, then he's less likely to want to know more about it...that includes people...
Just the way it is...attraction (physical or on another level) is an important part of people getting together...
