Its on the front of the card - though not all cards have an issue number - usually its just Switch cards. Sometimes its on the bottom front of the card after the long account number there is a space then 01 or 02 - whatever the issue is. The digits on the back of the card are security numbers only xxxx

NO the number on the back is not your issue number but an added security number. This may help........if not go to the weblink below.
"I have been asked for an issue number when buying things online? Where do I find it?
Not all Solo cards have an issue number – it depends on which bank your card comes from. If you do have one, it will be at the bottom of the card and will be clearly labelled eg. with the words “Iss” or “Issue”.

The issue number is a two digit number on the front of your card starting with a zero. Not all cards have these and you may be asked for the start date instead.

some cards do not have an issue number, if it is on the card it will be a single number usually, is basically the number of cars you have been issued on the account.
I've been able to ust leave it blank on some online forms that have asked for it

Your issue number is on the front of the card at the bottom. It is most probably between the card number and the expiry date, and have the word "issue" underneath it.

the issue number is at the front of the card, normally after the big number you will find a two digits number.
It'll be in here somewhere: http://www.credit---card.org
