They are really Great Dogs...they don't shed, and they are very playful in a good way, but also are lap dogs. My parent have had one for 6 years now, and i remember how the dog used to cuddle with us on the couch, and then at times would run around like a little playful dog.

I have a Bichon Frise mix (Bichonpoo) and I love her. She is the best dog I ever owned. She is 5 months old. Her name is Esperanza. She is very smart, easy to train, very mellow, loves everyone. She is a real sweetheart, loves to sit on my lap and cuddle. See her photo at left and on my 360.

I have had bad experiences with Bichon Frise dogs.

I had two in my late teens early twenties. The best thing I can say about them is they are hypo-allergenic (they have hair not fur). They were not the brightest breed of dog, and very very high maintenance.

I don't have one but I want one they are absolutely adorable. My friend has one and they are great dogs but she grooms a lot.

well they are good dogs but they take allot of grooming to keep them looking good
