Well, I am single.... and gay, and someone told me that gay people can't fall in love with other guys and all this other crap, well, there's this guy that I really "like" and he's constantly on my mind and every love song I listen to reminds me of him and I don't think it's love, but this has been going on for a really long time, what is this?

As for "gay people can't fall in love", what utter crap !
People of any gender / sexuality can fall for anyone else, no rules about what pops a smile on your face :)

Liking someone Strongly not love YET..... but very and awfully close. Take it from someone who knows. It has happened to me many times before. And come to think about it, it's happening to me now. I met this really nice guy and can't seem to get him out of my head and I think about him so much more when I listen to my favorite love song. Why don't you talk to the guy. And that jerk who told you gay people couldn't fall in love has something stuck up his a** cas they can. I have a (gay) Best Friend who's in love and they have been dating for a year and a half now. Good luck with everything.

Anyone who tells you that gay people can't fall in love is full of crap. I can't tell you whether what you're experiencing is love or not (probably infatuation...love is really more for when you have a relationship with someone), but you're having real feelings, and that's possible no matter what sex you are or who you are attracted to!

Infatuation.
Love is when you'd give up anything and do anything for that person. Love has so many complications. Thats why you cant necessarily love someone just because you think about them all the time. I think about food all the time, doesn't mean I love it lol
and whoever told you that homosexuals cant love, tell them to tuck an apple between they a**cheeks and hide behind a tree. thats not true.

well, I would venture to say that you have a "crush" on this guy..... just the way heterosexual people get "crushes". I mean, if you don't think it is love, then it probably isn't.... but as far as you not being able to "fall in love with other guys"... that really is crap. whos the shmuck that said you cant fall in love?? Love is when you wake up that person is the first thing you think about and the last thing you think about before sleep. well being gay, which i don't think its right, but i have gay friends and they are VERY nice. you can be attracted to someone without being physically attracted to them. its hard to explain, but i think it is love. i really do. you should call him up. hang out with him.
