Being good or evil is a preference. Not a spiritual "stripe". No child is born evil. There is no commonality between spiritualism and evil.
All is learned and preferences are made by the individual.
No Man is fated to be evil or good. They choose to be good or evil.
Evil people become evil in spirit and seek the same spiritual health that all beings seek. They use an evil path and learn an evil faith ( satanism for instance) Necromancy used to be the path of the evil.
Dark faiths like the Ovey and Demonic arts were fortunately removed by Catholicism Christianity and others that forced the extinction.
Evil is not spiritual. Nor is good. The path you seek is what creates your faith.

In one way of thinking; I agree with the asker. I currently believe more precisely, being evil is a choice; even if it is a deceived choice. (Choice good or evil).
