No, let the virus run its course. Dont try to stop it unless she is severly dehydrated. You will make her immune system stronger if you let her immune system fight this on its own.
I know it is scary to have a little one who is sick. But, just hydrate her. If give her little sips of water or pedalyte. If she refused, let her eat as many popcycles that she wants, just to ensure that she is not getting dehydrated.

Hope this helps.

The very same thing happened to me when i took my wee girl to toddler groups............... The mother just sat there yapping while her daughter was pulling and tugging and being a little brat and my daughter didn't know what to do and got upset !!! I too told the wee girl to stop it and it was not nice. I ended up not wanting to go back because i seemed to be the only one bothered about my childs behaviour. I know kids fight and do those kind of things but it's the parents responsibility to keep an eye on them and teach them right from wrong. I just waited and put her into a pre-school nursery when she was two for a couple of hours twice a week. I just couldn't deal with watching my daughter upset and now i don't have to because she's in a supervised enviroment that doesn't tollerate that kind of behaviour. It's a bit costly but well worth the money.

NO.

Call the pediatrician and give her Pedialyte in the mean time. The reason she is having diarrehea is to flush the virus from her system. But you can't let her get dehydrated in the mean time. The dr can also give her stuff to stop her vomiting. Sometimes you can get it over the counter at Wal Mart.

No but you can keep her hydrated with pedialyte and put her on the B.R.A.T. diet that is feed her banana, rice applesauce and toast or simular foods. Also coat her heinie with a good rash cream to prevent irritation. In the morning take her to the doctor if she is not better.and if she gets worse go to the E.R. watch for sunk in eyes and a decrease in urine output theses mean dehyration and she needs to see a doctor soon

One pharmacist I asked about this said NO. Go with Imodium. I would call your pediatrician and ask.
