For about a month or two or now, my eating habits have erratically changed. Vegetables and meats stopped appealing to me, and whenever I ate them, they just didn't taste right. Homemade, McDonalds, resturant... didn't matter. Just didn't taste right or feel right.

At the same time, I found myself significantly hungrier. I found myself going from eating, perhaps, for a pizza dinner, only half a slice and 2 garlic nauts(sp?) to eating 2 or 3 slices and 5 or 6 garlic nauts(sp?).

Likewise, when I used to eat about two or three meals a day, I'm now eating 6 meals or so... not including snacks.

At first I thought it was pregnancy, but, I'm on birth control pills, and take them at the same time every night, haven't missed them. My BCP's are Loestrin 24 Fe. However, last night, I woke up from my sleep precisely every 45 minutes. I also know that around December I get depressed due to the fact it's my mother's death anniversary. But I've never been THIS moody.

What's wrong with me?

I'm so sorry that you are going through such a tough time. It's still probably the depression manifesting itself in ways that you aren't aware of. Please see a therapist before this gets worse. You might also ask your physician for a low dose of an SSRI.

You need to see your doctor, who hopefully, will send you to a psychiatrist for medication management to treat your depression.

I am not a professional, but maybe you are depressed like you said. I think that you should definitely see a doctor. I did a sleep clinic to have my disorder (RLS) diagnosed. The sleep clinic doesn't hurt and can be very helpful in re-establishing a regular sleep cycle. Good luck.
