Is this a workable long distance relationship?

I go to school in Boston, Ma. I live in New Haven Ct when I'm not in school. She goes to school in near Hartford, Ct, and lives near Hartford. Obvioulsy if we both lived in Ct year round it would work, but I'm in Boston most of the year. Obviously it depends on the couple, but can this relationship work? Keep in mind we are both awkward people with limited dating experience.

Massachusetts and Connecticut are NOT that far away. You could both make time to see one another if you are both willing and want to have a relationship. I don't think being awkward should matter. I assume that you two are at least somewhat close already, so you shouldn't be too awkward together, right? Just take it slow. That's the best way to not make it awkward. The more pressure someone feels, the more likely they are to freak out or bail out on the relationship!

Hey i've been in a relationship with that guy Snake that just answered up there for several months now and we are engaged. So if there's love there then anything can work. Don't give up on the relationship if you really love her.

Of course it can work, as long you make it work. Whenever you guys are together, spend as much time with each other. Remember, efforts and commitments have to come from both of you two, not just yourself. As long as you commit to each other, and remain to love each other -- your long distance relationship is workable.

I've never seen a long distant relationship work. If it is just for a year, then you should be fine. Anything longer than that, I think you're screwed.
