How do you program new keyless entry for a 2002 olds alero 4 door?

You have to get the BCM prepared for programming by grounding a wire. I think the wire is in the trunk by either the high mount stop lamp, the truck latch area or maybe the left or right side of the trunk under the carpet sides. Ground the wire and wait until the locks fire, press and hold the unlock button until locks fire again and repeat for all transmitters.

you need to take it to a gmc dealer and they can reprogram it so that it will work because you need to have a special computer to be able to do it
