Tell me, please,about Simple Syrup and Gentleman's Jack. What are they? They're needed for a special drink recipe, I found online, and almost printed out.

Simple Syrup for Iced Tea & More
2 cups granulated sugar
2 tablespoons light corn syrup
1 cup water
Mix sugar, corn syrup and water in a medium saucepan and bring to a boil. Cook for 2 minutes.
Remove from heat and cool completely at room temperature. Pour into a covered container and refrigerate. Can be stored indefinitely in refrigerator.
Makes 32 (1 tablespoon) servings; Yields 2 cups.
Cooking Tip: You can rescue an overbaked cake by spiking this simple syrup with a little Grand Marnier, Kahlua, Tia Maria or brandy and drizzling it over the cake.

12 ounces frozen strawberry daiquiri concentrate
12 ounces frozen Pina Colada mix
rum
strawberries
coconut, shredded
1. Blend strawberry daiquiris and pina coladas, one at a time and according to taste. Place in separate containers after blending.
2. Using a tall glass, pour both mixes into the glass from opposite sides and at the same time. The drinks will separate cleanly in the glass.
3. Garnish with fresh strawberries skewered on straws and top with shredded coconut.
